Our Story...
It all started in 1972 when our grandfather decided to buy a truck, he became an owner operator and started the long journey of learning the business...
It was me, Billy Forkey, and my two brothers Casey, and Robert, side by side causing trouble. We grew up going to work with our grandfather which entailed long days in a cab, flipping all the switches and taking naps in the sleeper. By the time I was old enough to turn a wrench, I was breaking down tires and changing parts. Eventually, I would learn to rebuild my own engines and transmissions.
In 2005 I was old enough to get my CDL, I started driving long hours where I would daydream of building my own fleet. In 2009, Casey was old enough to get his CDL, by that time I was purchasing my second truck and gifted him the keys to the first one, in 2011 Robert joined in the family business. Finally, in 2019 we had our fleet operating close to 30 trucks.
Along the way, in 2014, we had decided to try our hand at a brokerage and obtained an office and a broker license. After a steep learning curve, we had finally figured it out, we named the business Professional Logistics Services. In 2019, we decided to uproot and move our operations to Boise, ID. After landing, we rebranded the brokerage as Four Keys Logistics LLC.
We built a successful operation that was acquired by a larger corporation in early 2022 and we began the process of rebuilding the brand as a freight consulting and analytics platform. Our passion is in helping others in our industry become prosperous and profitable, we believe with our experience we can help others succeed.
We were raised up around trucks and eventually grew up to drive one. With decades of experience we aim to help our fellow trucker succeed.
